This section covers my garage and observatory construction starting with the basic construction of the garage and dome. There is an explanation and picture of the completed garage and Dome 1977.

The page Dome 1998 has a picture of the garage and dome as it is today, with a brief explanation of some of the problems encountered in having an observatory inside a large city. The main problem is of course light pollution.

There are two pages, with pictures, on the how the stairs inside the garage fold up into the ceiling alcove and fold down into the garage for for access to the observatory.

The biggest section is the Schematic Drawings . In this section I have included a lot of the basic drawings of the dome and its mechanical drives.
